Organizations with signed agreements through with NACDS can offer the Test2LearnTM Community-based Pharmacogenomics Certificate Program to pharmacists within their communities. The accredited Certificate Program includes 20 hours of continuing pharmacy education – 12 hours of home study and 8 hours of live training – to train community pharmacists and other learners to decipher and translate genetic tests, make appropriate recommendations for the patient, and counsel and collaborate with prescribers to help optimize patient medication regimens. Engaging home study content teaches the principles of pharmacogenomics and its practical implications in disease states such as cardiology, oncology, neurology and infectious diseases.
