NACDS 2016 Point-of-Care National Tour

  • What is the Mission of the National Tour?

The National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) is pleased to announce a national "train-the-trainer" point-of-care testing tour. This “train-the-trainer” program is designed to expand the knowledge of point-of-care testing exponentially in the pharmacy community. Due to the hands-on nature of the training, participation is limited to 40 individuals per stop. For this reason, we are offering this program to those who are committed to training other pharmacists.

  • What is the fee to attend?

There is no upfront payment for the program. For those who seek the education and are committed to training others, the course is offered at no charge. However, to ensure that priority is offered to future trainers, we ask that you or your organization commit to hosting two training sessions in one calendar year following the training or agree to be billed NACDS’ standard fee for accredited education of $200 per person for the two-day training.

  • What if I’m not Sure?

    • If you believe you or your organization will be hosting at least two trainings within the next calendar year following the date of your attendance, please sign up!
    • If you are unsure of your or your organization’s commitment, please check back with us one week prior to the training session and we will try to find a place for you.
    • If you are only interested in CE and/or can only commit to the first day, this session is not for you! Please check our website for a session near you led by one of our trained trainers.
  • Upon submission of this form, NACDS will receive notification of your request. Please allow 10 business days for a follow-up email providing further information.

If you have questions, please contact education@nacds.org.
